Wislo Nigeria is run by Wislo World LTD, a company registered in Nigeria. In these Terms, "Wislo," "we," "us" and "our" mean Wislo World LTD; "you" means anyone who uses Wislo Nigeria: a customer, a store or a rider.
Effective date: September 25, 2026
Last updated: September 25, 2026
By messaging Wislo Nigeria on WhatsApp, ordering on wislo.app/ng, listing a store or riding with us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Wislo.
1. What Wislo is
Wislo is a marketplace. Customers order from restaurants, supermarkets and shops in chat or on our website, pay securely in naira, and collect the order or have a rider bring it. Stores list their menus and get paid into their own bank accounts. Riders deliver orders for a fee.
2. Who can use Wislo
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract. Give us true information, and keep your phone number and email address up to date. You are responsible for what happens on your number.
3. Ordering
- Prices are in naira and are set by the store. Before you pay, we show you the total, including any delivery fee.
- You pay through our secure checkout by card, bank transfer or USSD. An order is placed once the payment clears.
- For a delivery, you get a 4-digit handover code. Give it to the rider only when you have your order.
- Your first purchase needs a one-time code sent to your email. We may ask for another code, or pause a payment, to protect you from fraud.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel for free until the store accepts your order. If a store can't fulfil a paid order, you get a full refund. Missing, wrong, spoilt or damaged items, returns, and how and when refunds are paid are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which is part of these Terms. Refunds always go back to the card or account you paid from.
5. Delivery
We deliver in Lagos for now. Delivery fees, handover codes and what happens if a rider can't reach you are covered by our Delivery Policy, which is part of these Terms. You can also choose pickup and collect the order from the store.
6. Stores
- Listing on Wislo is free. For each order paid through Wislo, we keep the commission you agreed when you set up payments; the rest settles to your bank account through our payment partner.
- You are responsible for your menu, prices, food safety and quality, and for having the permits your business needs. Keep your menu and prices accurate.
- Accept or decline orders promptly, prepare them as described, and mark them ready in the chat or on the order screen.
- Only sell things you are allowed to sell. You may not sell weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, adult content, gambling products or anything illegal in Nigeria.
7. Riders
- Riders work with Wislo as independent contractors, not employees. You must give true identity details and a guarantor we can reach, and keep your vehicle roadworthy and your papers valid.
- Collect the handover code from the customer before you hand over an order. Treat customers' addresses and details as private.
- You are paid for each completed delivery, as shown in the job offer, into the bank account you gave us, every week.
8. Using Wislo fairly
Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out what may be sold and how everyone must behave; it is part of these Terms. We may pause or close an account that breaks it, and report fraud to the authorities.
9. Our responsibility
Stores are responsible for the goods they sell. We work hard to keep Wislo running and your orders on track, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as Nigerian law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms takes away your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or other Nigerian law.
10. Changes
If we make an important change to these Terms, we will tell you in the chat or by email before it applies, and update the date above.
11. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you have a complaint, tell us first. Reply support in the chat or email support@wislo.app, and we will try to resolve it. If we can't, the courts of Lagos State will decide.
